It saddens me to be true or accurate, but I have already wrote in an article that we are looking at almost 7million deaths in the least.
Fortunately or unfortunately most of these will happen in the poor countries and will go unnoticed and will remain undocumented, but the odds are not even a little bright in countries like U.S. , being already taken the number 1 position in diagnosed cases, the situation is getting worse by the minute.
So what the government is doing, yeah yeah I know the stimulus package and daily briefing and etc.etc., but really what the government is doing, the answer is nothing. You say how nothing, have you seen NY governor's pleas and have you given any thoughts to what is he demanding and why.
Of all the indicators you could imagine regarding the government's readiness or response following this catastrophic threat , the governor's requests and pleas are the most accurate ones for the prediction of an autcome, now its up you to infer how's that outcome, favourable or drastic.
In my calculations, we are a couple of weeks if not a month away from total chaos, only factors delaying the chaotic outcomes are the stimulus hopes and mostly fear of getting infected.
Soon that fear of virus will be replaced by fear of life, when the people will realize that there is no chance for them to be safe from infection, there will be prevalence of survival instinct and rage against government and society will be skyhigh, hence, the chaos despite the fear of virus it would become almost impossible to contain rioters
But there is still a chance and hopefully we will not get to that stage and governments, especially federal government will step up its efforts and we will see a stabilization of new cases if not a regression in coming days. Otherwise we are literally doomed, but hopefully not.
