U.S.A. the world leader and politics of third world

The new U.S.
 The year 2020 has been a tough going for most of the world but for the U.S. its a different  story altogether, not only there is a worst possible scenario regarding covid-19, on top of that an ever deteriorating social situation and all that is happening in an election year.
With candidates like Trump it surely is a bright and burning (literally) campaign and there is no shortage of fuel to add in flaming mix.
Wait a minute, it all looks familiar and it feels like we have seen similar scenes before. Welcome to the elections of virtually any third world country.
Anywhere in the world ( third world) when election campaign is in full swing candidates try to fuel already existing conflicts and try to take advantage of any incident/ catastrophe if it fits the narative they are building. Nobody cares about the wider and long lasting impacts of their actions on the political divide and society in general. Instead the leaders tend to gain from the divisions in society and portray the faction they are targeting as their followers.
It is understandable strategy for a third world country because the political leadership is corrupt and have nothing to display as manifesto or achievement of past tenure, plus they are family driven political dynasties and the current leaders need some igniting issues to have  a public senriment and create a faction that help them and in future thier kids to rise in power. One can just take a glance on political dynasties in south asia to understand the point.
But U.S. have a different system and parties are not owned by one family. There is a two term limit for a candidate. Then why we are seeing these tactics in election 2020. First the narrative of MAGA just collapsed under corona and washed all the positive points of Trump first term, then the reponse to virus threat was a confusing one where the federal govt can't decide to do the necessary but tough actions (the virus itself kinda liked it in U.S. and is fulfilling its American dream ) and it all happening in election year meant Trump don't have time to stabilize the country and economy enough to secure a 2nd term, hence the tried and tested formula of third world tactics.
Now it is upto (mostly ignorant) masses to be a part of destruction or see through the tactics used and stay away from fueling the conflicts further.
